What is Mass Following

Mass Following is when an influencer follows more than 1500 random Instagram users with the expectation that some of them will follow back.

At SOMO we believe, that Mass Following is not an authentic way to gain new followers. Besides this influencer becomes a Mass Follower in Audience Type section.

Mass Followers do not see posts from all users they follow. The Instagram algorithm shows posts only from those accounts with whom an influencer interacted somehow lately.
